Stunning Elegant Engagement with Inga and Xuan

I photographed Inga and her fiance Xuan at her home in Arcadia for this stunning elegant engagement. This gorgeous estate embodies such a romantic setting that she felt it a perfect location for their engagement. With the help of, Jeannie Wong, of Allegro Event Inc. we styled this engagement shoot using the natural settings of the backyard as well as architectural interior of the house. And as always, Chiali Meng did an outstanding job with hair and makeup. The breathtaking bouquet and wreath and other floral arrangements was by Susan Tom-Nellis of Peony and Plum. Gretchen Norton of Barnhill Boutique provided added touches to the decor of our tea cart and fireplace mantel that brought out the beauty in the location. And to make this session even sweeter, Inga agreed to pose up on the branch of the old oak tree. Such a romantic shot!

Wedding at The Fig House with Sara and Ben

This was my first time doing a wedding at The Fig House and I have to say this venue is really something. I was a little surprise and almost missed this little gem driving by. But what makes The Fig House so appealing is its charming furnitures and soothing colors. You can dress it up to your taste for any event, or you can just leave it as is and still make for beautiful pictures. It’s bright inside which of course, for any photographer, is a relief because light is our friend. It’s not too big and makes for an intimate gathering with close friends and family. Sara and Ben chose to have their ceremony inside and have an outdoor reception. Afterwards the inside was turned into a fantastic dance floor. You can’t help but get caught up with the dancing. This wedding was coordinated by the incomparable Hilary Hamer of Hilary Hamer Weddings and Events.

This intimate backyard wedding in Los Angeles was one memorable event with a cast of colorful characters. Kathy and Asaad tied the knot surrounded by family and friends that was full of laughter as well as full of tears. It really goes to show that you can get married anywhere and at any age. Calamigos Equestrian Wedding with Whitney and Jason

It was great to have worked with Modern LA Weddings on this Calamigos Equestrian Wedding with Whitney and Jason. Nam Lam and Hovik Harutyutyan did such an amazing job styling and coordinating this wedding. The couple, who reside in London, relied on Modern LA Weddings to coordinate this gorgeous wedding and boy were they surprised. Whitney’s jaw dropped as she entered the room. She was amazed beyond belief. Congratulations to the twosome on tying the knot. I feel so lucky to be a part of it.

Millennium Biltmore Hotel Wedding with Loretta and JJ

This Millennium Biltmore Hotel Wedding spared no expense. With grandeur and opulence bursting from the seams it was a fairytale come true. Held at a capacious ballroom and lit up like a Christmas tree by the one and only TMMPro team. This amazing wedding offered a boba tapioca bar catered by Ten Ren. And can you imagine that dessert bar? Loretta, the bride, also had two sets of wedding gowns. It was quite a feast for the eyes. Best wishes to the newlyweds, JJ and Loretta, for such a beautiful wedding and to all that made it possible.

Lawry’s Beverly Hills Wedding

I photographed a Lawry’s Beverly Hills wedding for a friend of mine recently.  I got to know Euri and Kendra of Fleuretica from the first wedding I photographed some years ago. In fact we’ve worked on a number of weddings together. We even collaborated on many occasions. And when Euri got engaged to David, she had asked me to photograph her dream wedding. Of course I accepted the honor with pleasure. And when she decided to get ready at The Line Hotel in Los Angeles, I was even more excited because the interior of this hotel is incredible! In the end, we finished off our session at her dad’s old bakery. A meaningful place she holds close to her heart. I got shots of Euri and David doing some quirky, funny, antics. And by the way, have a gander at the video by Cotton Love Studios with a same day edit they did of their day. It’s amazing!

San Ysidro Ranch Wedding with Danette and Daniel

I photographed a San Ysidro Ranch Wedding on a winter month up in Santa Barbara last year. This summer, the lavenders were in bloom and Danette and Daniel looked stunning against the backdrop of San Ysidro Ranch. And the Santa Barbara Courthouse was just as spectacular. Historic and beautiful, the Mural Room is a wonderful place for a ceremony.  With just a touch of mood and atmosphere the Mural Room makes a memorable day even more special. Best wishes to Danette and Daniel for a day of bliss and matrimony. Rebecca of Imagine Weddings & Special Events did an extraordinary job at coordination and styling. So wonderful to have worked with her on this occasion.

Los Angeles River Center and Gardens Wedding with Silva and Michael

This Los Angeles River Center and Gardens wedding is simply divine. The couple, Silva and Michael, who resides in Italy, wanted their family to be able to witness their wedding. The Los Angeles River Center and Gardens provided a backdrop with a touch of charm at a fraction of the cost of an Italian destination wedding. As you drive up to this venue, you are greeted with an arched wrought iron gate and the entrance is covered with ivy. Inside reveals a lush garden and space for both a reception area and ceremony. It was a pleasure working with this lovely people. And the evening reception was a blast with an Armenian festive touch. Congratulations to Silva and Michael for tying the knot at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens.

Hotel Maya Long Beach Wedding with Dolly and Chris

This Hotel Maya Long Beach wedding came with a little twist. You see, the bouquets made of paper! Even the centerpieces were hand made of paper. Dolly and Chris looked ravishing in their chosen palette of aqua and gray. And Dolly looked especially stunning in her vintage gown.  Theresa Huang Hair & Makeup Design did an exceptional job with her hair and makeup. And the day went smoothly with the aid of Cindy Wu of A Touch of Lavender. She did a fantastic job at coordinating the day. What a wonderful couple and such close friends.
